Hi,

I haven't heard of what you are talking about but I wanted to say welcome to the group.

Someone will come along with some answers for you soon, I'm sure.

Hello there,
I haven't had Iontophoresis and not sure how I would go with it.
I think the electrical current may be more than I can stand but it probably helps some arthritic conditions.
Please let us know if you go ahead with it.
Cheers

I had it done today it didn't bother me at all... the current isn't as bad as the burning and zapping I have all day :) Actually the pain is a bit better. Of course I have early RSD so I am not as bad off as some people. I have a lot of inflamation, bruising and stress injury in every bone in my foot so I have so many different pains... I think the Docs think I'm nuts:rolleyes: I am not sure what the drug was but it wasnt lidocane... I imagine that the people that have the hypersensitivity couldn't tolerate it...

That is good news queen. I hope you continue to have less pain---fingers crossed.
Perhaps it was a steroid that they used if not Lignocaine.
Best wishes
