ONLY a FEW Days Left...Ask your Representative to Support NETRP - House Deadline Marc
YOu want a cure to be found? You want to know what causes PD, once and for all? You want a better "gold standard" therapy? Send a message to your federal legislators now!!
Ask your Representative to Support NETRP - House Deadline March 14! Help Secure Innovative Parkinson's Research Funding Take Action! Please ask your Representative to support the only Parkinson's specific research program in the Federal government by signing onto the Neurotoxin Exposure Treatment Research Parkinson's (NETRP) program Dear Colleague. The deadline to secure signatures on the House Dear Colleague is March 14; we need your help today! Every year, the Parkinson's community fights to fund the Department of Defense NETRP program by securing congressional support through a Dear Colleague letter, led by the Bicameral Congressional Caucus on Parkinson's Disease. Funding for the NETRP program is determined, in large part, by the number of congressional signatures on this letter. Make sure your Member of Congress is one of the signers by e-mailing him or her today! The following Members have already signed onto the House NETRP Dear Colleague: Baldwin, Capps, Cubin, DeGette, Gonzalez, Goode, Hinojosa, Jefferson, Kagen, Kennedy, P. King, Maloney, McDermott, B. Miller, Pastor, C. Peterson, D. Price, Schakowsky, Shays, Spratt, Towns, M. Udall, Upton, Van Hollen, and Wu. If your Representative has already signed on, please take the time to thank them for their commitment to this innovative program and Parkinson's disease research. For more information about NETRP, please click here. P.S. Encourage your friends and family to support better treatments and a cure for Parkinson's disease by having them contact their Representative about the NETRP program. Tell-a-Friend allows you to tell your loved ones why this issue is important to you and can help make the Parkinson’s community’s voice that much stronger on Capitol Hill. |
