I read several web site info and blogs regarding this California home schooling saga.
Panel of 3 judges passed ruling making it illegal to home school your own children unless they're certified teacher!
Anyone else read about this, wonder where we're headed for?
Who is going to "police" these new mandates and where is the money going to come from?

We're forced to wear our seat belts, but each day hundreds-of-thousands small chidren ride buses no seat belts except the driver!
What will some crazy judge rule next? Make pain meds illegal unless you're terminally ill? Probably so!
Or rule Sunday blue laws BACK into law once again! YES! is on the list of "things to do" next!

Schools have pop/snack machines.....free breakfast & lunch programs for "needy" children like my nephew.
His parants "only" make $85,000 per year, mom doesn't work but he qualifies for this free food program!:eek:
Apparently $85,000 for 5 member family is considered poverty level in S Calfiornia and is Mexican race.
I just don't get it...his mom drives a huge SUV, drives kids to soccer games!
They're paying $550,000 for a home thats filled with the finest furnishings.
I'm jealous.
Anyway...if the food doesn't satisfy the kids, they can get junk out of snack machines.
Junk "food" loaded w/ chemicals, salts, sugars, transfats! OMG!:eek:
No fresh fruits or veggies. The foods offered in cafeteria is just as bad...is horrid!
Will some judge mandate a medical Marijuana dispensing machine be placed in the nurses office at all high schools?

But what really gets me...My freind who' is very disabled and in irretractable pain
told me his Pain Clinic doctor warned DEA's telling them to lower dosages to ALL patients...OR ELSE!
Since when is a DEA agent a pain specialist???
And who pays for this control while terroist out running amuck on our streets!

Anyone else wonder what our dear country is headed for?
Am I the only person ???? here that is shocked, dismayed, upset, raging, fuming,
furious about these Judges recent mandates forcing children into public school unless the parant is certified teachers! Wow!
They removed prayer, God and good morals from public schools...

Children 10 yrs old are forced to learn about "alternative lifestyles", safe sex, abortions and senstives like this.
You're never allowed to mention creation but evolution "Theory" is taught as if is science facts!
What will they force on us next? .

I have a problem with the home schooling thing. As long as people are getting all the requirements, what is the problem? The way public schools are failing some kids are probably doing better at home.

As far as the religion in school though, no, it doesn't belong there. Not every one is Christian, and they do not have time to teach every religion. So what would they leave out? You want religion, go to church or send you kid to private school - my mother did.

And FYI. Evolution IS, to the best of science's ability to discern, the facts.
