SEATTLE - It's a very special day for two women at a Seattle hospital.

Starbucks barista Sandie Andersen donated a kidney to a longtime customer at her Tacoma store.

Annamarie Ausnes needed a donor, and Andersen was a perfect match. The two strangers met over coffee and became the best of friends.

As the Mother of a son who has had a kidney transplant; I am always extremely touched at stories of this kind. I wish more people would do things like that. I have only one kidney and don't miss it one bit...

Thanks for sharing this.... This is something near and dear to me... :)

WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? WOW!! That's just awsome and so giving of oneself in every sense of the word. For 10 bad things, you hear one story like this and it gives you a glimmer of hope...just for a minute. Thanks for sharing :)
