Betaseron and Symptoms
 

Anyone taking beta shots.... I've been on this for 6 weeks. My symptoms had subsided before I started taking the shots. Over the last 6 weeks, my symptoms have gradually started coming back. Has anyone had this experience? I've read a lot on Beta, but now I'm confused as to if this in normal for the same sx to return.

I take Beta and have not had this experience. You might want to tell your Neuro - this particular DMD might not be effective for you.

I had this happen about a month into starting beta. It takes longer for the beta to build in your system.

I did a round of ivsm and it helped alot. I continued to have flares so I switched. I was on beta though for almost 2 years.

But, do call your neuro to let them know what is going on. I never call and get reprimanded for that at every appt.

i was on beta for about two months and i had to quit the med due to i had a massive attack and it also dropped my white cell count. You may want to get a complete blood count and get it checked out.
