OT: My Dad+Stomach Cancer+LDN

As some of you may know or recall, my dad was DX with Stomach Cancer after being hospitalized a year ago this week, I wrote this yesterday:

Orig Sent: Sunday, March 16, 2008 17:06, sharing here:

OMG! I Just got off the phone with my sister. She called to let me know my Dad had another CT scan recently and the oncologist stood there scratching his head, smiling and frowning at the same time.

He looks at her and says "WE don't get it, his tumors SHRUNK SOME MORE"

He was on chemo on Tuesdays from the end of March '07 until September, HE STARTED LDN 4.5 MG 3/28/07, they did a CT scan in September and saw his tumors shrunk in half, stopped the chemo immediately and went in to remove kidney stents they put in 6 months earlier when they told my sister he only had Up To SIX months to live.

They did another CT scan 3 months later, in Dec, said he was amazingly stable and in remission.

They did another now, 3 months later, 6 months post chemo, and his tumors shrunk more!

He's not yet playing tennis, but he sure is in good spirits!
