Proud, but disappointed Derrick tonight
Darn it, the local channel that was to do his story earlier this week. And we have been watching all week. Waiting, well it would happen like it did.
They emailed today, but I've not been home. And it was on at 6pm. We missed it. My son is heartbroken, hoping with all his heart its on again at 11pm. Its just a pain it happened this way. Ugh. Donna |
I hope that they run it and you catch at 11:00. If you don't see it, maybe you can contact the station.

Doesn't look like we are having 11 o'clock news. The ncaa is on.
Darn thing. Just my luck, a upset kid I get. Donna |
My station will usually run the news after the games -- even if it is very late. Also, lots of their stuff is also on the web site.
Can't you call them on Monday and ask somehow for a copy of the story? I've never heard of anyone doing this, but then, I never knew anyone on TV before. ;) I kind of think you could get a copy since he is the subject of the story. . . . just my thoughts. But hey, the important thing is that even if he doesn't get to see himself, he was recognized and he was on tv. Let him revel in that. M. |
