Good Morning Group~ It rained all night and is supposed to off & on today also. I hope it don't make it colder. I am so ready for Spring sunny days. I was hiring nephew to come and do yard work but doubt if thats happening now. There is no hurry about that though.

Well hows eveybody doing on weight? I weighed in at below my first low weight again. So here we go once more. I'm going to get up and ride that horse once more. Its taking longer now to lose. More time figuring out ways to exercise different, if that makes it any simplier. I am determine to do this and you can too. As you can tell, I am feeling better today after a good nights rest.
God Bless You is my prayer for today, go out and make it a good day you-all.:grouphug:
Hugs,
Billie:winky:

Bought my cinnamon last night and am going to give it a try. Something has got to change with my eating habits and maybe, just maybe, it will help my craving for sugar and starches.

Bilie, glad to hear you are feeling some better. Hugs , froggie:)

i haven't weighed again. guess i'll have to find my scale in alffe's tree. :p

but clothes feel better.

gaye...do try the cinnamon. my kids got a boat load of candy at easter..i have eaten 1 blue jelly bean. we still have halloween candy!

that would never ever have happened before. my husband even made a comment about it last night. he had a pudding and asked me if i wanted one. nope. it shocked him. :D

i'm not saying it's cure, but it does cut those craving down. it took about a week of taking it faithfully to see a difference. much better than trying to add it to coffee or food.

i am busy busy today. applications all over the place. just came home to change. it's already warm. gonna hit close to 90.

come on...we will do it!!!

Cinnamon

Cinnamon? I will have to go back and read where you all discussed cinnamon and how it helps weight loss. I am very interested. Mostly, I am on a fat-free diet and have been for 14 months now. But if I do eat a meal with fat content in it, I am now taking an Alli (Ally?) to stop some of the fat from being absorbed. (50-25% less according to the product info). However, it does nothing to decrease the old appetite. So while I am eating better food, I sometimes consume too many calories! And, I am hungry all of the time.

I have not weighed in for a long time but I can tell what I weigh pretty close through my clothes and the size of my tummy. I would like to loose more for my step-son's wedding in May. I hope the redo on my Spinal Cord Stimulator scheduled for April 8th will work and enable me to excercise/walk each day once again!

Take care everybody! Spring is here.

Nancy where you been the last two weeks or so. I started talking about I was loosing and thought the Cinnamon had something to do with it, for one anyway. For me, I was on the diabetic forum, hunting a way to bring my A1c down. Mrs. D came on and told me about the cinnamon. I thought it woudn't hurt to try it. Well, It has changed my whole life nancy. I never want sweets again. I also have so much energy to actually work it off. I love the stuff. Here is what you can do if you want to try it. Ask your Dr first okay. I bought mine at Walmart near the vits, & supplements are. You take one 2x daily with meals. (Its a 1000 mg cap.) It cost about $4.86 for 60, which is a months supply. Some are paying more and getting a gel tab. Mine was by Rexall. It doesn't matter about that. I feel great, except for this sinus bug lately. My Dr. was so proud of me today! Bless his little heart.:winky: They should of made me a spokeman for them. I have told anyone that will listen. It has worked great for me. I even got people on it at church.

Nancy I have written it down on the calendar about your SCS again. I will be praying for you Hon. I want this to work for you, so bad.
Hugs,
Billie:)

please don't tell me you had burnt hot dogs too? i LOVE burnt hot dogs. :o

nancy-h 03-27-2008 06:26 PM

Weird!

I LOVE MARSHMELLOWS AND THE ONLY WAY TO EAT HOT DOGS IS TO BURN THEM !!! Can't eat them any other time. Drives hubby nuts.

Billie - I will ask my Dr. promptly! One question - How do I get past the fact that everytime I see or read or hear the word, "Cinnamon", I think of big, fat cinnamon rolls? (Don't know if you have "Maverick" gas stations out there, they are like a 7-11 with gas. They make the BEST cinnamon rolls in the world and they beckon to me when we are in the car, travelling. :o)

No Nancy I haven't heard of Maverick place. I do of a few people that makes good cinnamon rolls tho. Nancy you can't get the amount of Cinnamon you need in a day, that way tho, you will need pills to get it. My doctor said I could have them, and I think they have played a big part in my losing what I have so far. I told my doctor that today too! I wouldn't want to go without them now for I was craving sweets before.:D Not a problem anymore.
