My day....

I started my day today in a VERY, VERY BAD MOOD....

My brother-in-law called and asked me to give him a ride to work this morning... it was cold, still dark out, frost covered my windows and I didn't have time to get the windows scraped or let the car run to defrost them... It took me to long to get dressed and I wasn't thinking about how cold it had gotten over night.

Anyway.. I manage to make it the 2 miles to my sister's house peaking through the small clear spot the defroster had made.... got my BIL, stopped at the CVS so he could pick something up before work...

My mood was not improving....as we were leaving CVS I turned on the radio catching the first notes of I Saw God Today by George Strait.... It was like a slap to the back of the head to get my attention... just a split second later I saw the MOST BEAUTIFUL SUNRISE!!! Pink cloudy sky with rays of light falling through!!!!

I truly believe.... I SAW GOD TODAY!!!

Just wanted to share...

Wow, that is an amazing story and an inspiration to remember what God has made for us.

What a wonderful thing to experience, Abbie! Thank you for sharing it with us. There are so many wonderful things around us that we miss because our minds are somewhere else. I believe the Bible when it says that God is all around us, in everything we see. And when we truly notice something as spectacular as what you describe, we really are seeing God through His works. I'm so happy for you that you saw God today! :)
