Prayers for DD college trip

DD left this morning with a group from church for a week long college visiting trip. She will be visiting a college in West Virginia, South Carolina, and Florida, before heading back to Pennsylvania. I know that she is in good hands (God's and chaperones too) but as her mom it is my job to worry. :D

I homeschool her, so I am very used to her being around a lot. Monday morning is going to be the hardest for me I think, after the guys leave for work/school. I have a long "to do" list this week in hopes that it will take the edge off missing her. It will just be me and the dog during the day, and that is too quiet/empty.

Thanks for your prayers for safety and God's guidance as these teens prepare for college and beyond.:cool:

This is something she will always remember. How exciting.

She'll be home in no time, but I know how you feel.

Weave, prayers being sent up for your precious daughter. She'll be fine but I know how you feel. The day I took my boys to college I cried to my lawn guy! :-)

She's back!!!

I was so glad to see her I just about squeezed the stuffings right out of her when she got off the van. :eek::D She had a great time but is glad to be home. A different city each day would make me glad to be home too. They had one mishap on the way back. Thankfully there weren't any injures but everyone was shaken up from it.

Thanks everyone for your prayers. She had fun, arrived home safely, and I stayed just busy enough to keep what little bit of sanity I had when she left. :cool:
