Question re:solu medrol iv effects...
 

Needed to ask folks here who have had treatment if you could please tell me how long did you feel like you were ran over by a train?

My honey had 3- 1000 mg iv treatments last week and it`s hitting hard now. I have had the fun of prednisone pills, but, not iv yet...

Will appreciate any input to help us know when the freight train will depart...thanks:)

I just had 3 IV sessions a few weeks ago. It took me a good week or two to come back to normal. Guess it really depends on the person, everyone is different.

I was just wondering how IV solumedrol worked on the body. I might be getting a course of steroids this week, if my neuro is so willing to give me some. (baaaaaad numbness in the right foot and leg, and it goes all the way up the right side of my body to my head now)

Can you take antibiotics and have solumedrol at the same time without the two interfering with each other?

Erin: I actually had taken a antibiotic during the treatment for a skin condition in my leg and there was no interaction between the 2. Also I have to say it has helped a little with the numbness but then again it depends on the person.

I had an 8 day IV of that stuff, twice. Both times it took me about 3 weeks to feel "normal". My sx did go away for about 6weeks then the numbness came back the first time. The second time the numbness never really went away, just dulled. But all the other sx did go away.

I hope your honey feels some relief soon!

aprreciate your input! My honey says thanks to folks here for the info also...today he is feeling better...each day a little more himself. I`m happy for that.:D
