I'm new

Hi

My husband has progressive m.s. We have been battling this disease for about 12 years and maybe longer. The last 6 years my husband has been in a wheelchair. It has definitely been in our face the past 3 years and we are still trying to not let it define what we are about. We are putting together a little r.v. so we can do some camping this summer.

That's all for now.

Hi Donnab Welcome to Neurotalk! We have a very active MS Forum here. You can find it at http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum17.html

Nice to meet you and your husband. There are a few caregivers on the forum as well. I am sure they will find you.

;)

Hi donnab and hubby. Glad you found us. I think you will find NeuroTalk to be a great source of info and a place you can come to if you just need to talk, so to speak.

I also admire your positive attitude. (We RV too and it's a great getaway.)

Welcome again!

Hi Donnab! :Wave-Hello: Welcome to NeuroTalk!

Good for you, don't let it take your lives. I'm SPMS and though it has been a long road, I'm still on it and trying to go forward however I can. Quitting is just not an option to me. :)

Donnab,

My honey was diagnosed over 22 years ago...he has Secondary Progressive MS. The past few years his disease has been in our face too. Great that you are working towards camping, that will be great. We are also trying new things this year that we thought we would never be able to do...if you want to talk just Pm me...
