Day to Day, April 3, 2008 · As co-host of CNN's Crossfire and founding editor at Slate.com, Michael Kinsley has led a competitive lifestyle. That attitude is now mirrored in his approach to living with Parkinson's disease. Alex Chadwick talks to Kinsley about his essay in this week's New Yorker, "Mine is Longer than Yours."Robert |

more Michael Kinsley and PD
Yes, his New Yorker article is an inspiration as much for the spikey wit and vivid sense of drollery as it is for the deeper sense of confronting one's mortality. 15 years into PD and still able to rock quite a few politicians' boat. May he live long and prosper. Another article describing his experience of DBS is entitled Yes, It Really Is Brain Surgery. You can find the url on Google.
