Are shunt blockages gradual?
It might have been "nothing", but last night, I was pushing away my hair and I thought I felt something on the tube running down my neck and into my abdomen? It mat have been nothing. I'm not worried. I am only asking if the blockages could ever be felt?
I kind of remember the known blockage I had in my littler tube and if this winds up as on. It doesn't feel ANYTHING like the last time. I don't know if little pieces of debriis just start to fall with time and I just happen to have felt it. Anyone know? Thanks! |

The only indication of a possible shunt blockage, would be one or more of the usual symptoms: head pain, nausea, vomiting, double vision, ataxia, dizziness etc. If you are symptom free I wouldn't worry. Mark |

I tried to find it by looking in a mirror, but I couldn't. (I'll have to dig out the hand held mirror and look into a mirror.) I was just suprised that it was so obvious. (Like it swelled or something.) Thanks again! |
