Good Morning Roll Call 10-20-06

1 Attachment(s)
HI TO ALL, It looks like we got a new name NeuroTalk. It sounds ok with me. How is everybody today. I am doing fine, but I am keeping busy. I am in the moving business today. I just stopped by and seen no one had started roll call yet so here I am. Wish I had you all here, I could keep you busy all day.

It's beautiful outside, but chilly. I dread winter this year when we are pinned in some with snow. The weatherman said a mild winter. I sure hope he is right.

Is everybody careful about what they are eating? I gotta admit I am eating on the run. I promise to do better once I settle down. I even had some ice cream last night andI gotta find a good sub. for that. I hope your all doing good today. I must run. check back in tonight. Have a good day.
hugs,
Fancylady:)

morning all :D

have you tried any of the sherbets or iced fruits? no fat. the sherbets have a creamier texture than the ices. or just having one scoop of ice creaam over fruit? or in a cone? i know if i use a cereal bowl...whoooo buddy...i can eat and eat ice cream!

eating on the run..or fast food can add lots of fat. ask for no mayo...there is about 100 or more calories just from fat! at mcdonalds you can get get the kids meal...small burger...toss one peice of bun...get apple slices instead of fries..and a diet soda or lowfat milk...they even have power ade. all for about 2 bucks. hehehe..you don't have to a kid. but they give you a toy. :D

take care bc. don't over do it. i would help you pack and move. i'm doing that for my folks. plus i'd bring muscle bound hubby...:p you sure you don't want to move to texas?

Fancylady_2006 10-20-2006 02:20 PM

Yes,I would move to Texas. I used to live in El Paso. Q paso? I like Texas very much if I was close to someone knew. My husband was stationed there many years ago, at Ft Bliss. It was hard for us to get used to being so far away from home. Do you live any where near there.
fancy:)

i'm about 15 minutes away from dfw airport.

been years since i was in el paso. bad thing about texas....the best tex mex food! :p :D

when i first moved here i was just turning 18. just my x's family here. but i loved the people so much. so friendly. guess i fit right in. there is a new commercial here for a bank. it shows car driver after car driving waving. lol..yep pretty friendly. the weather is good too. a bit hot in the summer. but snow just comes for a visit once in awhile in the winter. it never seems to get where you can't go outside. that i love.

Mornin'

Do you know what I did this morning? Well, my husband got up at 5:00 to do some things before it got too hot & had to make a trip up to Utah. So I thought I would get online early for a change and surprise everyone, especially our Early Bird Billie. So I opened up my laptop in my bedroom and must have fallen right back to sleep and I slept with my arms holding onto the laptop until 10:00. I was really confused when I woke up 'cause the last thing I remembered was getting a good-bye kiss from hubby.

Oh well, I had the best intentions, right? Speaking of good intentions, I finally went to the pool yesterday. And that was after doing loads of wash and cleaning. I was plenty sore at 5 a.m. but after re-awakening at 10, did my stretching and now I feel ...sore. Guess I really overdid it. Ooops.

It's a gorgeous Saturday here - will be sunny and about 78-80 degrees. Our long, long Fall season is the best! So have a good day all and we might see you later!

Love to all,
Nancy

Nancy -YOu must have needed the sleep.
I am still in my pj's here at almost 2pm.....
can't seem to get going.
Billie good luck with the moving/house stuff today.
I like to eat a bag of 100 calori popcorn when I feel munchy at night...it lasts a long time. I also found a no sugar added chocalte pudding but that goes down in seconds....takes me a while to eat that bag of popdorn.

hi yall,
I just got back from driving to the next city to go to Lowes. I was looking for a bench or some of those plactic chairs to put out around our property so I could walk my dog and have a place to rest, getting sick of ending up on the ground. But it seems I am out of luck, they only had one option and it has a 200lb weight limit :(
I was going to go by the gym while I was over there but I was just hurting so bad after Lowes I didn't go. I have a doozy of a headace this afternoon sinus I guess.
Good news is I got on the scales this mornin and I am down 7lbs :D

Good for you~

Karen that is great! I had gained a couple pounds so now I am afraid to get weighed. I had a good time today. We had a family reunion at a big restaurant, the food was delious. I won't weigh today, for sure. We were all first cousins. It sure bets meeting them at a funeral home.

It's been a beautful day here in Indiana. Sunny, but just a little on the chilly side. We took lots of pictures and stayed over and talked. Everyone wants to have another one next year. It does me a world of good just to sit and visit instead of working. I was needing a break.

I hope everyone had a nice day. I'm eating rice cakes instead of a meal tonight.
Hugs,
Billie:)
