A Legend Dies

I awoke to a new foot of snow and word that Charleton Heston Died overnight. Sometimes the death of a star is like losing a good friend.

I love to watch him in The Ten Commandments every Easter.

Well Done Good And Faithful Servant

:( I know......I was saddened to hear this news this morning, too. He was 84 years old!! I didn't realize that he was that old! He was a wonderful actor and will be missed.

That was exactly what I thought. When I heard the news I wondered what on earth he died from, then they said he was 84. I thought no way is he 84!! He just seemed larger than life. I always viewed Jack Palance the same way. I figured he probably intimidated the heck out of death. LOL:) Those guys just seemed so indestructable!:)

Hi, I was saddened to hear the news as well. I knew that he wasn't young by any means. He had Alzheimer's:icon_cry: It seems that all the good ones are dying:Sob:

I was walking around in the church fleamarket when someone ran in and shouted that Charlton Heston had died!!!

I said "oh my goodness!!!"

I mean, this guy was Moses, Ben Hur, well, he was bigger than life itself.

He's in my prayers.
