Weird and terrible headach
I have had headaches and migraines off and on for 30 years. They have finally been mostly under control for about a year, with only two or three bad ones, including the one I had on Sunday and Monday.
I've never had a headach settle in my eyes like this one. A migraine will make my eyes sensative to light, but this time, my eyes just hurt light or no light. Even my eye sockets were painful to the touch. Nothing made the pain any better (which is typical of my migraines). I'd been having some pains in my eyes off and on for a month now. The past two weeks I'd been experiencing a relatively minor flair which included an increase in the eye spasms. I see my neuro next week and I will ask her about it, and the issue I had with my eyes just a few weeks ago, see if there's any correlation. Do you think the headache was related to the flair? The flair started to improve Tuesday when the headach was gone. |

It may be nothing, but when you've got MS and you suddenly get pain in your eyes, it doesnt hurt to be cautious about it and go see the opthalmologist as quick as you can. (not an optician) Do your eyes hurt when you move them side to side? Would you consider it the worst headache you've ever had? Get it checked out as soon as you can. |
Time to see the Doc, but which one, the neuro, or the ophtho?
Probably an emergency visit to the opthomologist to determine if ON, then ??? My neuro will do my IVSM when I get ON, but who knows, maybe ophthos do also. Hmmm, I need to find out myself. But you need to be seen ASAP so rx can be started quickly. |
