new symptom
Does anyone have an idea as to what is going on? From what I researched...it looks like this goes with a neuropathy issue. I am really certain that I have nerve damage and now suffering! UGH!
Last night I was sitting on the couch and we were all just having a family discussion about things and I started getting VERY uncomfortable and having pain all over. I started feeling sick and then my hands started burning and sweating. Then my feet! I stood up and looked at my hands and they were FIRE ENGINE RED and just dripping in sweat! They burned so bad and my thumbs were just killing me! Everyone looked at my hands and went WOW! They couldn't believe the way they looked. I wanted to cry because they were burning and I couldn't touch anything. I then looked at my feet and the bottoms were just as red and sweating also. I then started sweating everywhere...it was so gross. This happened the other night when I was getting my MRI done. Oh, and I tried to walk the other day and the same thing happened. What is this? I got up and walked around and after while my hands turned PALE white and then got real cold! Then I was freezing and under a blanket. I just don't get it! Can anyone shed some light on this one? |
Hmm , have you read about RSD /CRPS , not saying it's that for sure but it is one of the sx.
Are you extremely sensitive to pressure, heat, cold, wind/breezes? swelling, color changes, skin changes etc? |
sometimes I've noticed that when I get excited (happy, sad, upset, etc) my hands go red and puffy and I get dizzy. Perhaps the family conversation was getting your heart rate up? and somewhere you have compression so blood flow is slowed? restricted?
(((((((hugs)))))) |
I am quite sure, this symptom is from the autonomic nervous system, which sure can be affected with TOS. I have had that symptom years ago, when all my troubles started. It went away after a couble of months.
I have been writing here before, as i have a lot of autonomic symptoms , that i am sure have their course in TOS. I am searching in scientific articles, and have forund proof, that this could be the case, although rare. Not very much research on this. I am trying to get an overview of this in writing, with references an all ( for the purpose of going to a private neuro soon) and i will try to get back to you, when it is more readable. But be calm, I have had these symptoms for tventy years, learned to live with them in different ways, and not dangerous, i think. |
I know someone who has RSD and they developed Raynauds. He has red and white color changes to his hand and it is cold. He also has sweating problems. His neuro said it was from nerve damage and the autonomic nervous system was involved.
