I am finally home!

What a day it's been. I think I've seen more airports today than I ever want to see again! I left Tulsa this morning at 7 am. I've been to Oklahoma City, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and finally ended up in Twin Falls, Idaho. That was the closest I could get to Boise...:( And I got to PAY for this privilege! At least part of it...as far as Salt Lake anyway! (for those of you who don't know me ... PODH is a retired airline pilot and we get flight benefits.)

I talked PODH into driving the 130 miles (ONE WAY) to come pick me up. The good news? Yes, there is good news...my suitcase that I checked twice today - once in Tulsa to Salt Lake City and then again in Salt Lake City to Twin Falls, ended up at both destinations with me! Yeah...and the other good news? I get to SLEEP IN MY OWN BED TONIGHT!!!

:Excited::Head-Spin::Dancing-Chilli::Dancing-Chilli::Dancing-Chilli::Dancing-Chilli::Dancing-Chilli::Dancing-Chilli:

It's good to be home. Back to my "normal" life again and now to process what's transpired over the past week...and the future. Mom hasn't made a decision on hospice yet. She has to "handle" my brother.

Sending up prayers for your mom. And prayers for some sense for your brother. :rolleyes:

Welcome home, Cheryl.:)

There is a high pressure ridge over Idaho so you should have a really nice day tomorrow. Not too warm, not too cold. Just right....

You PODH sounds like a great guy. You deserve him, and he, you.

Thank you for checking in.

I was thinking of you, and doing all the right things ...... http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/i...Pleeeese42.gif and hoping the tornadoes and storms would let up enough to let you and every-one else get home safely.

I do worry so about my "friends"! :(

thanks ... all your "right things" worked! I got home safe and sound and all my pieces and parts are here too! I don't have to go hunt for my luggage this time! That's a good thing!

Hey FG! Glad you made it home. Enjoy your restful night in your own bed.

So, you took the long way home, huh? Which airport has the most comfortable chairs to rest in? LOL And, how did you manage not to get your luggage lost with all the cities you "visited" today?:p
