Hello Everyone...

I am new to this forum. It seems I have been searching the web continuously since my injuries in January because I can not seem to get answers from the doctors. I learn more on the web than I do for them it seems. I had a fall January 18th when a ladder gave out from underneath me. I have post concussion syndrome. From the beginning most doctors do not discuss this with me, or its symptoms. It was not until I was having my jaw x-rayed at my dentist's office that he told me PCS can effect your entire body. I've been to ENTs Neuros, Orthopedic doctors. They have basic tests and tell me I am fine. CTs, MRI, xrays...were fine, but I am not. I just lost my job because I spend too much time at the doctors and my work performance has decreased badly. My mother has been caring for my toddler weekends. After my accident I got through a really rough six weeks or so. I was feeling somewhat on the road to recovery, but not totally. I visited several chiropractors (could not find one I liked) who all adjusted my neck... which was not hurting me.... now it is) A week before my therapy was to begin I was having pain down my leg and visited a chiro I trusted and knew out of the area. He adjusted my neck on A DROP TABLE, where they push your head down and it drops and stops. I told him I should not be doing this, he said it was ok....3-4 times later I stood up and felt like throwing up. This was two weeks ago, since then I am getting worse and worse and worse. Am I having recurrent PCS symptoms? Now I am having trouble with my neck too. down my arms, pain in my hands, etc.... I can go for a CT, but I had one last year and three since my accident in January. I also had a pelvic and an abdominal CT....too much! In the meantime, I now lost my job last week, and the last two nights I cannot sleep as I feel jittery in my head, although I am laying still. Has anyone had reinjury such as this? To think he did this to my head 4X in a row. I am feeling hopeless. It has been three months. I am my toddlers only parent and need to pay the bills here. I have been to two neurologists.... I had to beg for nerve testing. I am having pain in my hands and knots in my palms, and pain in my heel of my foot...too much to list. Do I need another doctor, or is this the way things are, because it seems on line, nobody has answers and are looking for them also. It is so frustrating, and scary. I've never had to deal with anything other than sinus infections,....etc.... is this what it is like? Any help would be greatly appreciated. You will never know. I am at the point of crying daily feeling like I am slowly dying and hopeless. I have been getting worse now instead of better. I was actually cleaning somewhat before this Chiro did this.... now I pray to get through each day. I have been off thyroid meds just about since accident also, and i have to now deal with raising my meds at a snail pace because they give me chest pains and palpitations. I have dealt with the sensitivety to the meds for years, but have never been off, like now, so it is a long hard road...I am afraid with my brain injury I will end up with a stroke. Everyone just wants to send me home with a bottle of Xanax. Sorry to be such a complainer, but I am at a desparate point. I am normally the person that makes everyone else laugh. Thank you so much. Angela
