Sick...Bah!

I didn't feel too well all last week. Just thought it was the weather changes and stuff.....But, Nooooo, it's a UTI....Ughhhh!!

I woke up this morning and, of course Pal wanted out right away.. I get to the edge of bed and start to stand up.....not gonna happen....I keep trying and it is obvious that I have a fever..:o ..I tell dog to pee on floor...LOL.

I do finally get up and make it to my scooter and let Pal out, Just in time.. I call my PCP and beg him not to make me come into his office..... and the Angel calls an AB script to my Pharmacy. I turned on the A/C for the 1st time and went to bed.

The reason I'm telling you all this, is .. 1...to get your sympathy :D and 2...to remind you that not all illness is MS. So many times, when you're feeling bad and your MS symptoms are giving you he!! and you think you are starting an exacerbation, it's a UTI or some other evil infection.

I hope this Amoxycillin works fast...cause, I feel yucky poo..:p

Sympathy (and lots of it) headed your way.

DH had a 104 temp yesterday. I told him to stay far away. The cause of my last relapse was a fever, so I am terrified to get sick now, especially because I am a bit run down.

Hope you feel better soon!!!

Actually Sal, I can totally relate......I'm calling my PCP first thing in the morning because I'm pretty positive I, too, have a UTI!!!! I've been feeling real poopy, and amongst all these different symptoms I've had working against me I know UTI is the cause of some. I have lots of bladder control issues, and UTI's have been a frequent, unwelcome visitor! :D

Did he make it? Did Pal make it out the door?

Any hoo...you feel better real soon Sappy!

Hey Sal...I think I am running a sympathy fever for you! I've been in bed all day and my legs don't want to work either!

I am glad you got an rx from the doc and hope you get that UTI taken care of pronto! I know I don't have one, but I am run down and a tad bit stressed out...gee I wonder why!

Anyway, stay in bed and let's rest, otay!!!

Did Pal make it outside? Holly did...;)

Passing the cranberry juice to my pal Sappy....

Aw, dangit, Sal. Didn't we have a pact that no one would get sick for awhile? Get off the computer and get your butt back in bed! Get a dog door!:hug:

Hey Sally,

I'm sorry you are feeling so cruddy. The last thing you want to do when you're feeling sick is clean up dog pee!

I hope you are feeling better soon! :):):)

Sally,

(1) you definitely have my sympathy  - UTIs are evil.

(2) Thanks for the reminder. It's so easy to blame how we feel on the MS when there could be something else going on.

Hoping the antibiotic kicks in real soon.

Seriously, hope you feel better soon Sally! We need you here.
