New From WA State
I'm a 44 yr old lesbian, mom to two sons who are both in their 20's now, a nurse by profession but not working at the moment due to complications from a cerebral AVM. Haven't explored this site enough yet to know where I'll most likely be posting. Probably in one of the forums dealing with complications I'm having as a result of the AVM. I've been having seizures lately so maybe in the epilepsy section or any Social Security threads since dealing with that mess is a big issue in my life right now.

Welcome to Neurotalk Jesse.
We are neighbors, at least in the geographic sense since I live in Idaho. We have an epilepsy forum at http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum11.html I hope you check in there and find some answers or at least post some questions. We also have a fine Social Security fourm http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum28.html Feel free to ask questions, we are here to help! ;) |

Jessejessejesse! One big, warm, tight, hug, handshake and howdy, moose-size official type welcome to the site. This place is amazing! You are not alone.:) You are one of us. And we are here to help.:grouphug: |
Hi there Jesse! Another big welcome from me.
I'm an Australian so when I saw WA, I thought you were from Western Australia. I WILL get used to all the abbreviations for the state names soon. I promise. :D I see the others have given you some good links to check out, but do have a look around the site, and join in anywhere you feel comfortable. Nice to have you with us Jesse, and I hope you'll make your home with us. |
Hello and welcome to NeuroTalk. Great to see you have come to be with us. You will find a great number of caring, supporting members here willing to help each other as they can. As Cheryl said we have a good link to epilepsy. I have had epilepsy for over 30 years, just ask any thing and I will answer you the best I can. Again welcome, looking forward to seeing you around. Darlene:hug: |
