Daily Check-in & Encouragement Thread
 

Trying something different-

Instead of making a new thread for each days check in-
Let's try using this thread for our everyday hellos, encouragement and touch base posts.
Then the other threads with exercise, snacks, tips & menu ideas won't get pushed down the page so fast.

Shall we give it a try and see how it works?

Some of the other forums have used this idea and it is kind of nice to have a ongoing thread that everyone can post how things are going all in a single place.:D

Ok my daily check in-

Curious & I have been brainstorming and doing some spring shake ups on the forum here.
We do have a request for a name change in with DocJohn, so if the title is changed one of these days that is why..

We also want to include more healthy living and fitness topics.
And up the encouragement factor:D

:yahoo:THAT SOUNDS GREAT!! HOPE ALL ARE DOING WELL....I GAINED 5 POUNDS SO I NEED ENCOURAGEMENT TO GET OFF MY BUTT AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. ICE CREAM :icecream:HAS ENCOURAGED THAT LAST BOUT OF WEIGHT GAIN!!
I AM NOW AT THE SAME WEIGHT I WAS 10 YEARS AGO BEFORE i LOST A BIG CHUNK....TOOK ALL THAT TIME BUT IT FOUND ME! I HATE HOW I FEEL :hissyfit:AND WANT TO TAKE OFF... AS MUCH AS I CAN BEFORE JULY CAMPING TRIP!

ugh..i have gained back 6 lbs. :eek: stress and no exercise. my eating has been fine. my metobolism is shot. i'm not sleeping much either.

so i vow to get my rear in gear and get it moving. one way or another.

Morning all. I'm up early this morning waiting for the painter to come and paint my guest bedroom and bathroom (for the 3rd time!) Yup, I'm in hot water with the Mr. but some of the blame is his as well. I think we have the right colors this time. Cross your fingers!

lol..ok not funny...but i have done the paint thingy before. i don't care what they say..or how much of a sample you get...you can't tell the true color until until it's all or mostly done.

change is hard..;) Ok..stream of conscienceness (can't spell that) here.
The old fart (formerly referred to as the professional painter) that we hired to paint the upstairs hall and the kitchen ceiling, showed up once for four hrs..did an ok job on the kitchen ceiling....left all of his "stuff" here and hasn't returned. Keeps calling with excuses that make me feel awful for doubting his sincereity...wife in hospital, wife home, wife back in hospital...he keeps calling me by the wrong name...Mrs So n So..makes me wonder if he is really off painting someone elses house but then he must have a double set of "stuff". He is holding up my parade because I'm wanting to wallpaper when he is done...if he is ever done. :rolleyes:

I did pass the physical for the insurance yesterday....have lost 11 pounds!
And worked all day in the yard...our trashman is gonna hate me!

Froggy you were so right about the So.Beach diet....it works!

Now what I really want to know is where our Billie is.....
