Avinza vs Oxycodone

My Avinza is supposed to be good for 12-14 hours (per blood test). Oxycodone is supposed to be good for about 4 hours. Never tested this one.

I had the oral surgery and I get at least two toothaches daily. Like today, I have taken two of the fifteen mg Oxycodone. At 15mg of Oxy the toothache still hurts. At 30mg it mostly quits hurting and unless it is a really bad day, 45mg takes care of the pain for several hours.

Do I need to take the 30mg Avinza or will our bodies accept the Oxy as a substitute? I don't want to hit withdrawals if I were to skip the Avinza. I have forgotten to take any opiates a couple or three times. About 30 hours later my life takes a turn for the worse.

Just curious. I understand this is a minefield. Lots of answers, some good, some not so good.

Interested in a ball park idea about the "Hey I took 30mg or 45mg of Oxy today, don't want to take the Morphine."

I joke around, but this really is not intended to be a flippant question. I have NO DESIRE to hit withdrawals.
