This may be your 76 minutes.

This is widely known as "The Last Lecture" by Dr. Randy Pausch, the Carnegie Mellon University computer science professor who is dying of pancreatic cancer. He's only 48.

The lecture is 76 minutes long, so make a date with it and be prepared to be riveted and to enjoy a wonderful life experience.

This man talks about life. He talks exceptionally well, about life.

As of 4/28/08 he is still alive and doing his best.

***Mascara Alert***

This speech is wonderful. I watched it last week and you cannot get through it without shedding some tears.

Thanks for the update on his condition, Cindy. I was wondering how he was doing. He looked so healthy (I cannot believe I'm saying that ) it was hard to believe he had terminal cancer.

I just pray for a miracle for this man....he's such a good soul.

I've seen him on Oprah. He gives new meaning to the words "love of life".

I think his purpose on this earth is to reach as many people as he can. To me, he's not terminal, he's still ALIVE!!

Bless this man!!

We can all learn something special from this man. Jim and I admire his strength and willingness to want to help others even though he knows he's dying. Amazing.

Absolute proof that we are at our best when we face the impossible.

What an amazing person...

...and fantastic teacher...

For those of us who have disgustingly s-l-o-w dialup connections, here is a pdf text of the speech.
