separation/stress
Boy, stress is a killer when you have PD.
Now that I'm separated I am learning how to live alone again. Feels very weird. |

Stress
[F]Hi
Yes i totally agree i have had a very stressful three months, family problems. Usually my meds keep my tremor at bay but when i feel stressed my left arm starts to shake, have had to up my meds slightly, after talking to my pd nurse. The other thing is my sleep patterns change as well don't sleep too well as it is but now i am lucky if i get a couple of hours a night. Will my pd go back to how it was before the problems, once my stress levels drop?.[/FONT] |

yes - it may feel stressful but do not allow yourself to live in the stress - and being alone it is is something that may help you more than you know, I went through adivorce after knowing my husband since highschoool, and that was very strange, since we had been together for 20 years -and we married very very young... ouch! yet I feel no more pain about the relationship now - years have a way of softening memories - so just be happy for what you have - find peace and balance by praying to God, I will pray for you lil one.:hug::hug: |
I think it will.........

I'm sorry, Mary Frances, that you are going through this, and hope it can turn into some kind of liberating open window that lets you do something you never imagined possible before...you never know what one thing ending is actually preparing you for. You are obviously gorgeous, a delightful person, and heartfelt...someone would be lucky somewhere down the line, if that's what you want!!
One day at a time. |
yes - when you relax & you sense the calm vibrations

as much as possible... and find calm or sit outside or walk in the grass barefoot, or sit by the ocean and look and listen to the waves, it will heal the stress - just try to stay peacefully happy, and read and watch and listen to TV -music / books - whatever you think on you will experience more of - think on beautiful things... whatever or whomever they may be... you will be just fine...:grouphug: ps - you see we are electric beings all of our diet and minerals - everything can be great when the neural firing - does what we expect, think on this... do not eat too much red meat -if you eat meat - fish or poultry organic will help yoour meds and do not take meds w/ grapefruit juice... try this link -a book and a video http://secondopinion.org/index.cfm?o...3A393A44E2062E |
PD and Divorce
Sorry for your troubles. I went through the same thing approx 8 years ago. I had to leave my then-wife AND MY 2 YEAR OLD SON!!! Talk about ripping your heart out. And on top of that...PD.
However, I am writing to tell you there IS life after divorce. You WILL come out the other end. You WILL be happy again...in time. In the meantime, I always felt some comfort from an old Chinese proverb: Better alone than poorly accompanied. I hope this helps just a little bit. Keith |
I remember
Mary Frances, Sure can relate. A few years ago I too went through the difficult divorce, and it was tough, and stressful, but in looking back, It had to be. I surely couldn't continue the way things were. Today, other than the PD, things are much better than they were back then. Guess I had to let go of what I had then to allow myself room to begin again on my own terms. God Bless! Florida Gal
