Looking to Share Information & Support

Hi to All. I was searching the internet to find a forum concerning Survivors of Suicide to discuss my issues with having lost my only brother and later my only sister to suicide. My mother & father are both deceased from other health problems, but both had attempted suicide in the past. Please let me know if I am in the wrong "community".

I also see you have a forum on chronic pain. I have suffered with back pain for several years and am scheduled for surgery next week (Spinal Cord Stimulator). This like a last resort to getting relief from this chronic pain.

I am looking to learn & share information and offer compassion & support where I can.

Hi catluvr123! Welcome to Neurotalk! :welcome_sign: You're absolutely in the right community - and I've posted the link to the Survivors of Suicide forum. You're welcome in any of the forums, though, so take a look around and join in wherever you'd like to.

I'm a cat lover, too! There are several here that participate in animal rescue and we even have a Pets forum.

Please let us know if you have any questions. Nice to have you here! :)

:(I am so sorry for the loss of your son. This is so heartbreaking for the one who left and to those left behind. How long ago was this tragedy and how old was he? My prayers are with you.

Hello Jan and welcome to NeuroTalk. Another cat lover here, although I do love all animals.

I'm so sorry to hear of your losses but I'm pleased that you found your way to us. You'll meet some wonderful people around the forums, and I daresay i'll be seeing you in the Survivors of Suicide Forum at some stage.
