Disk Herniation And Nerve Root Question
 
Had A Mri And I Am Told My Lower S1 Thru L5 Or Something Like That, Had Disk Herniation And Nerve Root Something Or The Other. I Have To See A Nero Surgeon 2 Weeks From Now. This Get A Little Worse Every Day.......is This Serious And What Are Options??

The "something" may be nerve root compression; it would make sense if that's what you were told.

The effects of compression can be: radiculopathy; paresthesia (numbness, tingling, feeling of pins and needles).... and I'm sure others will add more insights.

I found out it was root displacement. Thanks for the response, just trying to do a little homework before I see the Doc.
