Your motivational songs? Songs to help you fight?

Music is so soothing and healing for me.

I saw a thread a few weeks ago on another forum about songs related to their MS fight. A lot of them were GREAT. Since then, I have been compiling a good number of songs on my MySpace page (you can go there to view all of them and listen to them). BUT, I came across the greatest song. OMG, it is wonderful, beatulful, and just so moving and touching.

It is sung by Josh Groban, called, "Let me Fall." Here are the lyrics:

Let me fall
Let me climb
There's a moment when fear
And dreams must collide

Someone I am
Is waiting for courage
The one I want
The one I will become
Will catch me

So let me fall
If I must fall
I won't heed your warnings
I won't hear them

Let me fall
If I fall
Though the phoenix may
Or may not rise

I will dance so freely
Holding on to no one
You can hold me only
If you too will fall
Away from all these
Useless fears and chains

Someone I am
Is waiting for my courage
The one I want
The one I will become
Will catch me

So let me fall
If I must fall
I won't heed your warnings
I won't hear

Let me fall
If I fall
There's no reason
To miss this one chance
This perfect moment
Just let me fall

Some other songs I have are: Stand by Rascall Flatts, Its your life by Bon Jovi, One X by three days grace, eye of the tiger by survivor, I hope you dance by leeann womak, so small and jesus take the wheel by Carrie Underwood, everyone hurts by REM, Hands by Jewel, Invincable by Pat Benatar, It gets better, Bring on the rain, and not going down by Jo Dee Messina Don't stop dancing by creed, Unwritten by Natasha bedingfield, if you want me to by Ginny Owens and a host of others.

So, what are some songs to give you the umption to face this day, this battle?

I don't have the lyrics handy, but one I use alot when exercising or biking is "Bleed it Out" by Linkin Park. Probably not exactly what you were searching for with "motivational" songs, but it is one that keeps me moving when I want to get lazy and slow down or quit early.

It is not the video for the song but the snow leopards are beautiful, there are a few flashes in this if anyone has trouble with that.
Move Along by All American Rejects http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gof4EWhRxUA

and now, a sappy moment from me...this song came on the radio when we were on the way to get my blood test and spinal tap results, to find out if I had MS or not...it spoke to me then and has ever since...

I also like this video for it, that jokes about what people might think the lyrics are. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5Vsn1NdKrU

Another favorite is Mexican Wine by Fountains of Wayne http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4blhM9IU3A
Mainly for the chorus with the last line of the last verse
Now I'm retired and I think that's fine.
The sun still shines in the summertime,
I'll be yours if you'll be mine,
I tried to change, but I changed my mind,
Think I'll have another glass of Mexican Wine

I have still not found mexican wine in a store, I enjoy sangria and pretend. There is a story there, but not for now.

And of course the retired line sets the stage for Bittersweet by Big Head Todd and the Monsters http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpVWoF57sZg which was exactly how I felt when approved for social security disability. Although I first heard that song on a fake beach and lagoon played live.

Enough of my musical memories for now...;)
