I'm new at this, help

My sons gave me this machine for Mother's Day. I really have no idea what I am doing. I am taking a chance that someone out there can understand what it is like to have an aneurysm to ruputure and change my whole life. If I am doing this wrong (I am still learning to use this machine) someone please tell me and I will find some to get rid of all this. I am 54. You all sound like nice people. I have no one to talk to that understands being ill. thank you for your time.

If this "machine" is your computer, I think you're about to enter a whole new way of life.

I'm also a young'en in my mid fifties, and my machine has been a God-send for me. Once I learnt how to drive it, :) it's enabled me to meet the most amazing people, and you're about to meet some of those same ones.

Welcome to NeuroTalk. It's so very nice to meet you.

So far you seem to be doing really well with the new machine. I think you'll like it here.

Hello Sam and another Welcome to NeuroTalk here. As the other's have said, please make yourself at home and browse around. I'm not computer savvy myself, so you'll see that NT is an easy place to navigate.

Also, we have amazing Moderators that are always willing to help.

Glad you found us.

Hi Sam:

Have you been learning how to use your laptop? There are so many places to go on the internet (without even leaving your chair), it's absolutely amazing.

You can also learn games, and 'YOUR MACHINE" will keep you occupied for hours on end.

It is very sad to lose a friend. I know. I have lost some too. But I'm 60 and if I can learn to use a computer, anyone can!!!

So hope you are feeling okay, let me welcome you to Neurotalks, and hope you find some answers. We are very nice folks here.

Take care,

Melody
