So You Think You Can Dance!!!

Oh My God. What a superior show to Idol.

These people can MOVE on that stage. And some can move like I have never seen anyone move in my entire life.

Alan and I just sat back in amazement. And Alan doesn't dance, doesn't like dancing, doesn't like to watch dance shows.

HE WATCHED THIS ONE.

And he said "OH MY GOD", more than once.

Especially the last guy.

But they have these performers who put their whole heart and soul into the dance.

A very very good show.

Anybody else see it??

I thoroughly enjoyed it, and agree with you: It by far surpasses Idol - even when people are not selected to go to Vegas.

The last guy was excellent - and very entertaining.

There were several who are quite good.

I like this show.

I put it on DVR so I will probably watch it tonight.

I never watch shows on time unless it is a final.:)

Jim and I watched it last night too. We love that show. Our oldest son also watches with us. It's become the summer tradition here.

I just can appreciate the fact that Alan and I can WATCH ANYTHING together because this man has had to use headphones because of a slight hearing loss. He revved up the tv, and we live in an apartment, and you can HEAR EVERYTHING, so it was either give him a pair of headphones (the audio doctor suggested this by the way), or, if I didn't do that, I would have gone stark raving bonkers with the noise in my living room. My living room is 30 feet long (combination dining room and living room). No carpeting, only ceramic tile. So noise bounces off of EVERYTHING.

But with the headphones, it's all nice and quiet and I don't disturb the two 80 year old people who live directly underneath us.

But I wanted to be able to watch tv WITH him, and not in another room. So I went to Radio Shack, got a headphone splitter, and VOILA!!! There we were last night sitting on the couch, each of us with our own set of in-line volume headphones, not disturbing anyone.

Of course the headphones also block out other sound, so if Alan is talking to me during the show and saying "wow, look at what this guy did", I'm going:

"WHAT?? WHAT?? WHAT??".

It's like a comedy show when the two of us watch a show. So far it's been American Idol, Hells Kitchen, and now Do You Think You Can Dance.

Oh, we also watch 5th Grader, and Lyrics. and to hear Alan singing along with the singers on Don't forget the Lyrics, well. You haven't lived until you've heard this man sing.

If you want to hear him singing AMEN (like Sidney Poitier), from Lillies of the Field", just go to youtube and type in AMEN.

He's up there singing his little heart out.

As he gets older, he gets funnier.

Oh, I cannot wait until next week for this Dancing Show. I wish it was on 3 times a week (like they used to do with Peyton Place, over 4 years ago.
