Hello Everyone
Hi, I'm a part-time student in college and I also work part-time (and trying to become full-time to pick up some summer hours.) I'm engaged to a half-wonderful half-frusterating guy.
I've never had any real health concerns, at least until this past February and early March. There was a flickering "strobe light" in my left eye, and my periphral vision was impaired. I was referred to a retinal specialist by my eye doctor. The retinal specialist diagnosed me with optic neuritis. My strobe is gone now, but I never quite recovered all of my periphral vision. Anyway, I'm having some new concerns, and I don't really know if I should bother to see a doctor about it, so I'm really hoping someone can point me in the right direction. |
Hello Pippa, and welcome to NeuroTalk.
I see that you've already found your way to our General Health & Rare Disorders Forum, but if there's anything else we can help you with, please let us know. I'm however wondering if you may need to see a Neurologist after what you've described to us. Has this option been mentioned to you yet? Maybe it's something you could discuss with your GP. It certainly wouldn't hurt. |
Hey ZP!! Welcome aboard!!:)
