Please take a moment
Monday is Memorial Day. This is a very Special Day to us Americans. We remember all the young Men and Women that have Died for our Freedom.
Regardless, if you believe, or not, in the War they were in, You have to stand up and Cheer for them. Every one of them gave a Great Sacrifice for the Freedom we enjoy. This is not a day Off or a Holiday, But a Day of Rememberance. My Flag is already Flying. Come Monday I will have a moment of SILENCE and a very big PRAYER for the Fallen, and hope Ya'll do also. |
I am very grateful for all of those who serve our country. There's really no way to adequately thank them for what they do. I pray for them all every day.

My Dad served in the Army Air Corp and the US Navy and my husband spent 20 years in the US Navy. Our flag flies proudly every day.

We have one flag on our front porch and another one in our living room. The colors clash with the rest of the room, but we don't care. I had a small patriotic flag below our mailbox until someone else thought they needed it more than I did. It will get replaced when DH makes the post more secure. My backyard contains a few rose bushes, with two of them being Veteran's Honor, and Honor. My now deceased father-in-law served this country during WWII and the Korean War. The only thing he ever said about his experience was, there are no atheists in fox holes. My own father proudly served too, but never saw combat. Every day is Appreciate Our Military Day in this household of four. :hug:
