Do you need special paper forfinger paints?

What type of paint do you use on plastic suncatchers?

construction paper works better than a wall, although my kids would beg to differ

Go to the local art supply store and get those great big Oak Tag things. At least that's what we used to call them.

They are gigantic big poster size things in all colors.

If you get the white, the little ones can finger pain to their heart's content.

Go to the hardware store and buy a drop cloth (under a buck).

Then put the drop cloth on the floor. Then put the white poster thing and all the finger paints, and the kids can go to town.

When all done, hang up their work of art, throw away the drop cloth, and the house is still clean.

Now aren't I a genius??? lol

a non messy "paint" type of project.

in a large ( the largest you have or can find ) zip lock freezer bag, put in chocolate pudding. about a 1/2 cup to a cup depending on the size bag.

squeeze out all the air. smash the bag out flat. let the kids "draw" on the baggy with their finger. re-squish to erase. they can keep doing this over and over, then have a snack.

i think the suncatchers need a special paint sold for them.

Motors Mommy, What do you want to paint? Here's a link that talks of painting plastic. http://www.ne-design.net/rain-barrel-paint.html I read you can but krylon at Kmart & Meijers. Another site says you can use auto paint.
