Hi everyone,

Well.. since I have only been posting this week, I just wanted to get to know everyone better so I'm posting this Icebreaker to get to know you guys better. I will answer first ;)

If you could have an endless supply of any food, what would you get?
- Bread, I am a major carb-a-holic

If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
- I would be an Artic seal : soft, cuddly, round (whats not to like)

What is one goal you’d like to accomplish during your lifetime?
- I would like to see all my kids (esp. the two special needs ones) graduate from H.S.

When you were little, who was your favorite super hero and why?
- Wonder woman: because my brother had superman underoos and I had wonder woman ones and I thought that was GREAT!

Who is your hero? (a parent, a celebrity, an influential person in one’s life)
- My grandmother who died in 2001, she was the nicest, sweetest woman in the whole world and she was in a wheelchair for the last 10-15 yrs of her life. She never complained but I know she felt like a burden, I get my strength from her!

What’s your favorite thing to do in the summer?
- Take care of my garden but that's HARD to do in GA heat!

If they made a movie of your life, what would it be about and which actor would you want to play you?
- Hmmm.. It would be about "never giving up" & I wouldn't mind Halle Berry playing me :eek: heh

If you were an ice cream flavor, which one would you be and why?
- I would have to be Coffee flavor. My mom drinks enough I'm surprised I didn't come out in a coffee filter when born. Plus, I do like the flavor of coffee.

What’s your favorite cartoon character, and why?
- It's a show my kids watch, "Chowder". He is just funny and makes me laugh when I feel stressed out.

If you could visit any place in the world, where would you choose to go and why
- I always wanted to go to Scotland, but I don't fly so I would have to take a LONG boat ride which.. someday I might! I just love medieval times and castles and I just think scotland would be neat to visit.

What’s the ideal dream job for you?
- Being paid to be a mom :p But, if I needed to do a real job. Hmm.. doing what I hope to do in the future, being a social worker. I like talking to people and helping them. I really enjoyed my internship in Hospice. It's a humbling experience.

Are you a morning or night person?
- I am both, I stay up late and I rise early/painfully in the morning. Probably why I have to take afternoon naps!

What are your favorite hobbies?
- I love sports!! I like playing online poker, love to read, and spend time with my little munchkins.

What are your pet peeves or interesting things about you that you dislike?
- Oooo.. I get such BAD road rage when I'm driving. What can I say, I'm a bostonian: no one can drive as good as us ;) I don't like people that hurt kids, or people with disabilities, or the elderly. I don't like when my kids mess with the toilet seat! :ranting:

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?
- Ugh.. one time I had chinese food and I found a palmetto bug in it. I don't know if I had any of it but hmm.. I hear bugs have good protein! :eek:

Name one of your favorite things about someone in your family.
- I love that all three of my sons are very respectful to adults and have manners and are just good hearted kids.

Tell us about a unique or quirky habit of yours.
- Ugh..well... it could either be my pen fetish. I LOVE collecting and having a ton of pens - going to STAPLES makes me shiver or it could be, I used to eat foam from when I was a baby and I ate the foam baby bumper and used to swallow it to now just finding foam and not swallowing it but chewing on it. I can chew the heck out of a foam egg crate mattress, yum yum! :Starvin:

If you had to describe yourself using three words, it would be…
- Type A, sensitive, and honest

If someone made a movie of your life would it be a drama, a comedy, a romantic-comedy, action film, or science fiction?
- with everything that's happened in my life... DRAMA!

If I could be anybody besides myself, I would be…
- I wouldn't change a thing.. I would choose myself.

Fishing in the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains with my family!

It woudl be entitled "You Can", starring Matt Damon (young me) & Wilford Brimely (old me)

If you were an ice cream flavor, which one would you be and why?
Rocky Road ! Yummmmm

Sponge Bob: An innocent dolt who tries and tries...

If you could visit any place in the world, where would you choose to go and why
Palambang, Indonesia so that my wife can finally visit her grandmothers grave from a 1943 Japanese concetration camp.

What’s the ideal dream job for you?
I think that I already have it: getting paid to chase lizards and plants. I still cannot believe that I get paid to do this stuff...

Are you a morning or night person?
Night person without a doubt!

What are your favorite hobbies?
Camping in the mountains (and fishing too!)

What are your pet peeves or interesting things about you that you dislike?
Procrastination - I will get back to you with more details later...:D

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?
A monarch butterfly. I had to figure out why scrub jays don't eat them, and when my prof explained it to me (and said that he had done the same thing) I had to find out for myself. Blech, gag, blech...

Name one of your favorite things about someone in your family.
My mom and dad still check in on me and we chat at least twice a month.

I always try to keep an escape route open,..., just in case...

Curious, tolerant, unforgiving.

Probably a comedy, because it all seems so funny in retrospect.

My wife, just to see how she sees things (for a week only).

Camp in the middle of nowhere and take pictures of wildlife. (got my cooling vest yay. )

I think the movie would be called "screwed" and probably christina ricci could pull it off if they could make her look like a female version of a cross between jerry garcia and a crackhead.

Dunno. I hate ice cream.

That's a tough one, but I'd shoot for Denmark. It's lovely there.

I would love to be a photographer for national geographic.

Night person. Mornings don't like me.

Painting, photography, and analyzing crime scenes. I still say jack the ripper was a woman.

I hate people who judge me by looking at me.

Another tough one. I don't consider anything I eat wierd, but people think my cheetos dipped in A1 sauce are gross.

I shouldn't say, but i'm kinda glad none of them really speak to me.

I don't want to be someone else. I'm happy the way I am. If I had to choose, ..darn, I can't think of anyone. I'd pick a celeb, but i think all their lives are more messed up than mine.
