Just saying hello

Hello everyone.
I am new to the site and wanted to tell you a little about myself. :)
I am 22 and have RSD in my right ankle/foot, and also in my right wrist and hand. I got it in my foot when I was 15. I sprained it playing football. I then got it in my wrist when I was 17. I fell and it spread.
I met my husband when I was 17 so he has been with me through a lot. He was there when it spread to my hand. He has been amazing, and I don't think I could have made it without him!
I also have two children. My daughter is 3 and my son is 1. I stay home with them, since it is really hard to have a job when you can't really walk:p I would stay home with them anyways though.
I am looking for a place to get support, and give support. Its so hard to go through life with no body understanding what you go through everyday. I look forward to getting to know everyone:D

Hello there GJmom and welcome from me as well. I'm so sorry to hear about the problems that you've had. It's certainly hard enough raising a small family, without having RSD to deal with as well, but you've certainly come to the right place for support; it's what the members here do best. :D

Welcome again, and please let us know if there's anything we can do to help.

Hi Welcome to Neurotalk!!

I suffer from RSD/CRPS in my left leg and right arm, I developed it when I was 12 years old - I am now 13. If I can help you in anyway please just let me know!! I am so pleased to hear that you have a good husband, who takes good care of you.

Love and best wishes

Welcome to the group.

I know you have found the RSD group. You will learn a lot there and enjoy the people there.

We can sure relate to each other with the pain levels we deal with and the fact that it is so hard to hold down a job.

I am glad you have a great husband to help you. Mine was that way before I lost him. We need that help and support. You'll get a lot of support here also.

Ada

Hi, GJMom! I'm new too and it feels real nice around here.

Thank you all so much! I already feel so much better finding people that "get it" I love my husband to death, but he can't get it. He has not been there. But at least he knows he does not get it. So thank you all! I am trying to find some way to deal with the pain. I have been getting ready for a huge flair up. I hate it my family just says to "not allow it" ya because I so choose to have pain. UGGGGGG!!!!!
