Washington Governors Unite to Raise the Flag on Parkinson's
Wednesday, October 25, 2006 Northwest Parkinson's Foundation http://www.columbian.com:80/lifeHome...6news70467.cfm The Governor's Conference on Parkinson's: Raising the Flag on Parkinson's is an annual educational symposium for Parkinson's patients, families and caregivers, especially Parkinson's Disease professionals such as physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and occupational and physical therapists. Featured speakers will include both current and former Washington governors Christine Gregoire, Booth Gardner, Gary Locke and Daniel J. Evans as well as national and regional Parkinson's experts including The Northwest Parkinson's Foundation, The American Parkinson's Disease Association (APDA), Information & Referral Center, and Washington State Chapter APDA as well as medical staff from the Booth Gardner Parkinson's Care Center (BGPCC), the University of Washington and the Veteran's Administration Hospital. In an effort to reduce the isolation that is so common with this disease, The Governor's Conference on Parkinson's strives to bring Parkinson's people together in an uplifting environment of learning and support. The registration fee is $25 prior to November 10 and $30 after November 10. Good excuse
I've been looking for an excuse to make a trip to Seattle. I have about the amount of a ticket and hotel left from my $1107 dividend from the state and don't want any moss growing on it just sitting in my bank account :)
