Dh is on the 'roids, ARGH!!!

Tim has been on oral prednisone for a couple of weeks for a Crohn's Disease exacerbation :eek:. He is normally a VERY moody person anyway. While I totally understand what he's going through; I still want to lock him in a room until it's over!!!

He is in constant "attack" mode :mf_argue: with me and our sons. He usually apologizes after he goes off on a tirade, but my gosh, I'm already on the verge of tears 24/7 lately!

It is a bit funny though when I say to him, "it's the steroids talking, not you" and he gets sooo mad!!! It's like telling a woman "there, there dear it's just the pms talking"!!! LOL

Ok. I feel better :). I gotta go hide under the bed now ;).

I'm so sorry Joelle! I know when I've been on steroids, DH just looks at me with a scolded puppy look a lot of the time. I get rather demanding and slightly argumentative. Last time in the hospital, I was on the phone with the office giving them orders of what should be done, and how, when and why. :ranting: The nurses in the room just looked at each other like, gee, could it be the steroids perhaps?  She wasn't like this when she checked in!

Well, I hope your DH gets to feeling better soon, Joelle~~ You've certainly had a rough yr. Still keeping ya in my prayers.

Oh, and just tune him out.... He'll get over it soon!
