To do with 'quick reply'

I just wondered if there is some way to keep 'quick reply' open instead of having to click on the symbol in the bottom right hand corner?

i'm not really understanding the question.

you have to open a new window to reply. or how would you reply to different threads?

if you scroll down below the post you will see the "quick reply" is always an open field...at least it is on Spring theme for me

when i click the quick reply tab next to the advance tab ,under the reply box it says click on quick reply in the post. is there a way to make quick reply my default way of replying, I kind of think that is what rose meant if not sorry for assuming. otherwise u have to click on the quick reply in post each time,

i see what you mean cheri.

it's there on tulip. i hadn't checked all the styles

i just checked. when you scroll down it's there on all the styles.

i tried default blue tulip and spring and the quick reply all requested that i use the quick reply in the post, I also looked through options, doesnt appear to be a default setting for quick reply or normal reply, could be my operating system or which brfowser i am using so any suggestions would be appreciated

wanted to add the spring style is soft on the eyes, my purpleholic wife wants me to keep it on tilip, its too bright for my eyes

frank, i know any pop up blocker has to be set to allow nt pop ups.

i use the regular button to reply. i'll play with the quick reply. i love to push buttons. :D admin has been known to test on monkeys. i have even been banned a few times. :p

testing..dooo daaa...dooo daaa...

what i got frank was a message to activate, which was a simple click, then the box worked fine.

i haven't found any defualt setting so you don't have to activate before replying.

On other boards it's open to use, and I don't need to open it each time I want to reply to a post. I just wondered about it. Maybe it's not a feature on here. No problem, really. Thanks anyway.
