A Father's Love - Wow!
If this doesn’t touch your heart, nothing will……….. It made me cry!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------- A son asked his father, 'Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?'. The father who, despite having a heart condition, says 'Yes'. They went on to complete the marathon together. Father and son went on to join other marathons, the father always saying 'Yes' to his son's request of going through the race together. One day, the son asked his father, 'Dad, let's join the Ironman together.' To which, his father said 'Yes' too. For those who don't know, Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever. The race encompasses three endurance events of a 2.4 mile (3.86 kilometer) ocean swim, followed by a 112 mile (180.2 kilometer) bike ride, and ending with a 26.2 mile (42.195 kilometer) marathon along the coast of the Big Island . Hi Darlene! That was just wonderful...thank you for sharing it! I am sending it to my Dad and Mom...they will love it I am sure. It tugged at my heart stings and my eyes were welling up with tears...very emotional...I loved it!!:hug:

I've seen this a story about this Father and Son team on TV a while back, Darlene and I am just as amazed now at seeing it, as I was the first time. The music sent shivvers down my spine. Thank you.

You just had to go ahead and post something like this didn't you? I am sitting with tears streaming down my face. What a beautiful video and story of true parental love. Thanks for sharing even though I am now ugly from crying. lol
