Winter Travelers, beware
 

For anyone who doesn't want to think about it right now, but knows he/she should, the travel industry is sending out panic attacks about booking flights early, as in NOW for Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. With fuel on the rise and no cap in sight, advance purchase tickets may save you a chunk of change.

DD bought her ticket to England back in November. Due to flight changes, a two hour layover in Pennsylvania has turned into a 5 hour layover, stuck in the airport.

We could change it but of course, that would cost an additional $500.:mad:

I do understand that this gas increase is causing the airlines lots of problems here in the states.

I wonder what is going on outside the USA.

with prices now, if some family wants to see us for the holidays, then they can come hither

Yup, they are trying to send out their jets w/a full load, so on our return trip from NC, they've already switched our layover time in Atlanta from 1 hr to 3 1/2.

*I didn't think you were a member of Cirque du Soleil, AMN ~ I just thought it was the plain circus.* Just figured the beard was part of the act* hahahahahaha

Awesome. After the move, the only way I'll see my family is if I swim!:eek:
