Leg Pain
Just wondering if anyone out there has experienced what I am feeling. I have extreme muscle pain in the back of my legs especially when I stand still placing pressure on them. I have to constantly walk or move my feet in order not to stand still. Also, when I sit on something hard, the backs of my legs ache. When I sit or lie down, my legs do not hurt. I am really concerned because these are the only symptoms I have. I am not fatigued or do not experience any numbness or tingling. It feels like a nagging, pulling pain. Any one experience anything similar? I am desperate.:(

tight
muscles may signal low magnesium levels:
more here on this thread: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread1138.html Also, if you are taking statins for lowering cholesterol, now is the time to see your doctor and have tests run... CPK levels...to see if they are damaging your muscles. Tight hamstrings are common and signal further muscle issues. They are among the largest muscles in the body and require the proper nutrients to work properly. |
I was going to suggest that you see your local doctor for a CPK level, which is a blood test, but I see that Mrsd has already mentioned that.
All that's left for me to do then is welcome you to NeuroTalk. I do hope you get some answers soon, so that you can treat and erradicate this pain quickly. |
Hi, Tkeith! :Wave-Hello: Welcome to NeuroTalk!

Can anyone help me please? Being 60+ over the past 3 years I have been getting bad foot pain which features cramps when I am lying down but is somewhat alleviated when I wear shoes and am sitting/standing. Its now moving into my lower legs.
