A forever Love.....

I wonder if you all have heard the story of Christian the Lion? Its an old story, it began back in 1969.....but I just got an email with this video 2 weeks ago, about him and his former owners and wanted to share it with you.

If there was ever a video that could show pure love...this is it for me....

.

It moved me so much I had to research all I could about all of them...such a moving story...one that stays with you, one the world could use more of!!

They have a whole bunch of video's about him. Christian the lion at World's End........He moved to Africa to be in the wild, part of George Adamsons "herd" (born free)

The story goes.....The night before the two men arrived in Kenya, Christian returned with his lioness and cubs to the camp where he was rehabilitated. Adamson often talked about the mysterious, apparently telepathic communication skills of lions - particularly between lions and men. He believed Christians return to camp was proof of a sixth sense possessed by lions.

The next day the men walked out of camp to look for Christian. This video shows what happened next. After a reunion that lasted all day and all night, Christian returned to his pride and was never seen again.

I could watch that video over and over and never get tired of it. Animals most definitely have feelings and emotions. This lion just reminded us of that. :)

I couldn't get that link to work...

Is this the same video?

.

It is totally sad that both Adamson's were murdered during their
work!

This is totally a beautiful video!

You might enjoy the Lion cam:

.

it seems to go down more frequently lately...and the cubs
are larger/older now. When they were small, they were really cute!

Thanks. . . we both enjoyed that through tears (needed a kleenex alert) . . .

Just brought our own kitty home from the vet . . . and were relieved her little illness is not so serious. . . .
