I was having a rough day yesterday, feeling down, grumpy, all that bad stuff...anyway, dh wanted to go get some pics of the fireworks last night, I didn't really want to but thought maybe it would make me feel better.

There was a huge July 4th celebration going on downtown but no way I could handle the crowd...Hermann Park was also having fireworks so we decided to head over that way...trying to find a good spot to watch them, I said hey lets go up on that parking garage....it turned out to be the best! We could see downtown about 5 miles away, got to watch their fireworks, watched some that were way off on the horizon probably 40-50 miles away plus got the close up view of the ones at Herman Park. The most awesome, IMHO, was the first picture I snapped of the fireworks...not a prize winner by no means, but it just proved to me that there is always an angel watching over me!

That angel is awesome. The whole pic is worthy of entering a contest. One of the downtown parking garages is our favorite spots to watch. You also get out on the road after the fireworks are over a lot quicker.

Wow! That is awesome. You did capture an image of that angel watching over you!
