Please help with Foxfire
 

Hi all:grouphug: just to let u know I am computer illiterate:(
I downloaded Foxfire on my computer tonight. Am I mistaken or what? LOL
Is this an antivirus or a web browser? I am really embarred! After downloading and launching it I thought it would chec my computer for virus but what I am seeing is just browsing. Someone please this poor fool:confused:

So all it does is help you browse the internet?

I did a little more research and I decided to go with advast for
my antivirus and I hope its the right choice.

you can add Threatfire along with anti virus programs

I prefer FireFox to IE any day - much faster loading pages for me

I prefer Firefox as well. Sites load in a snap.

I must admit to using IE on some sites, such as MSN Games. Since it is a Microsoft site, IE seems to work better. But for most browsing, Firefox is a winner.

its just a browswer but if you go through all their addons you can find a lot of neat stuff

there are places you can go for free and good virus protection savemybutt.com

I believe its in the upper left corner top of page it says downloads.

also do not run two virus progams for some reason two just dont get along real well on apc system

if you have aol there is a free mc cafee service which is real good
