My primary doc suggested me to have a colonoscopy. Do i need special precausion to avoid flare or spreading?
Please advise!

talk to the dr who is going to perform the procedure. I've had one with rsd, and didn't have any problems. Of course, everyone is different.

Hugs

Had the procedure last fall with no problems, but like Mary said always ask your doctor. Good luck. Susie

I had mine last month. No problem for me either. I agree with the other's, ask you Dr. about the procedure.~Love, Desi

I only problem I had was a reaction to the anesthetic. I was out of it so much more than the average person, and for longer. This may have been a drug-combination side effect of some sort. The doctor and the pharmacy were stumped. But after it wore off in about two days, I was fine.

Definitely make sure the gastroenterologist and his/her anesthesiologist are aware of everything you are taking. Give this information well ahead of time.

Good luck

Mike
