I had my 3rd concussion on june 28th. the feeling of being lightheaded has not gotten any better and i've been out of work since. has anyone experience feeling lightheaded worse than any other symptom. i'm starting to get really depressed about it cos it hasn't gotten any better. i have a neurologist appt in 2 wks. thank god. will they be able to do anything? any advice would be helpful. i'm getting scared at this point.

Hi
I'm 5 months into my PCS and light headiness is one of my worse symptoms, my headaches have stopped, but I have lightheaded episodes and dizziness. Like you I am now getting depressed and anxious all the time, convinced I have a major head problem. My neurologist things it is just time, he doesn't feel I need a scan because I don't show signs of numbness or pain. The problem I have now is trying to recognise what is anxiety and what is actually physical symptoms. So fed up with it all, just want to be normal again

I don't know if you are experiencing vertigo, but the medication Antivert helps with this. Also, the lightheadedness and dizziness could be caused by crystallization in your inner ear. A chiropractor and/or cranial sacral therapist might be able to help with this. Good luck.
