Haven't been around much; missed y'all!
 

It started when we had the house painted and there was so much to do moving things around rooms. It was a perfect time to really clean the whole house when the painters finished.

They found all the grime and dust I had hidden under the appliances and even two socks behind the dryer and I am still one short. :confused:

I would check e-mail and the online hometown paper every day and that was it. Otherwise; I would be on here and nothing would get done. I know this because I have seen me do it! :o

All cabinets, pantry and closets are rearranged and I got rid of my size 5 clothes which I know I will probably never be able to get in to in this lifetime.

I did a lot of purging, Salvation Army got good stuff, I got a receipt for taxes and more room.

I am so glad to have all that done and looking forward to spending more time enjoying my online friends.

I'm jealous.....I need to deep clean, too, but just cannot find the energy (or motivation) to do so. I'm seriously considering hiring someone to do it. But I'd have to clean first before I let anyone in here to even do that!!! :eek::rolleyes::D

I have a difficult time just keeping up with the day-to-day necessities...

and I really laughed about your socks problem...

see, I have this small laundry-basked full of unsorted, but need *really* good light to tell black from dark blue, and it's the rainy season here (what'd you call it? "monsoon season" ?? LOL!!)

...which means that unless I dig out, and hang up the chicken brooder box floodlights, the sock-basket is gonna sit there in the corner, mocking me.

Holy cow, I'm pooped, that's too much to read, much less to do all of it.

Pencil me in for your next project, I need to do a grand purge myself (meaning make someone do it for me).

Glad you're back and survived the whole thing. It does feel good to get it out of the way, though, doesn't it?:)
