I am not an expert on the causes of pain, but I just wanted to wish you well and offer a prayer, that you find relief soon..((((((((((Sarah))))))))))

Awwww, poor Sarah. :(

That's just not good at all! You're a young mother and you don't have time for pain. So sorry -- hope you find some relief very soon.

Sounds like spasticity IMO but I'm not a doctor. If it is, go the the National MS Society and type in exercises in their search engine. Print out the pages that were made by therapists to cover joints and muscles. Once you do them a few times it only takes 10 minutes give or take to do them.

As, Ewizabth mentioned, Baclofen is prescribed for spasticity.

Take care.

OH my poor Sarah... HUGS~!

What have you tried? And have you seen a Rhuematolgist?? They are amazing at dx.

I take Methocarbamol for spasticity with 3 200mg of ibruprofin and both don't make me drowsy. Sometimes my ankles just lock up and hurt. So I do stretching then break down and take the Methocarbamol/or neurontin with it.

Let us know my sweet one

Sarah,

I'm so sorry you're having such pain! :( When I have pain from spasticity I take Baclofen but it's an everyday treatment for long term. I also take an antidepressant that helps with some pain. I haven't had to take a nerve pain medicine yet.

Maybe try some Advil or something like that to get you through until this passes?:hug::hug:

Feel better soon Sweetie!

sarah

Have you talked to a physical therapist about different types of shoes or different ways of doing things at work to help with your wrists? Maybe your doc can refer you to one.

Pain is so difficult to deal with and I am sure that the heat and the environment where you work doesn't help.

Sarah - I am so sorry!! I also take Baclofen for the spasticity and I am not dx yet either (as you already know)

I know when I am really bad I take a shower..... it seems to help relax me. Just a suggestion.

Lots and Lots of

Sarah, I'm having the same thing right now, too. It's mostly in my hands and wrists but it does hurt!! I take Baclofen, too, although it doesn't always work for me. If I take enough for it to cut the pain it makes me very drowsy. Guess if I'm asleep then the pain won't bother me, huh?! I'm sorry you're in pain and I hope it gets better soon!

Hi sarah.....sorry you are in such pain....pain stinks!!!:(

I think Jan had a great idea.....what about a rheumie???? They will rule
out the fibro diagnosis at least(well, if they think its not fibro) and Ive
heard they are pretty good and you would have another doc saying
this is neurological in origin.

And maybe they can help to figure it out too.

Good luck, I dont know how you are going to do this as I am on my butt
when I get pain like that.:(
