Wow am I excited!

Hey all, I was chatting with my online buddy in England and he linked me to this incredible resource called Open Uni, where they have Open Learning. If you need any help I might be able to help point you in the right direction as I am getting used to the Computing IT stuff it has, so far so good, I am reading and loving it. :D

Today out of the blue I said, "I want to go back to school Jack..." Mostly to help throw him off the trail of my existing plan, but also to help set the stage for it when I go about making it reality in a few weeks. Jackie has been bad to me again today, but this site will keep my mind off it (I hope) since it's like getting a HEAD START on going back to school for computer specialist.

Since Jack had noticed I was kinda hiding stuff on my computer when he'd walk by I told him it was school related stuff I was hiding and he understood and his stress level went down immediately. Which is where I need it to be right now, I wish I could make this work here, but I can see it's just getting worse with each passing day. And it's just inevitable that someone, him or me leaves.

Anyway awesome find or what? I am so stoked about this, also got a Pell Grant FAQ link here:

Great find today surfing around too. :D

Dear Pam,
This is indeed a good find.
I'm happy for you.

Thanks Mari! :D Hope you're doing well tonight. :) I am really excited about this website, it really makes it interesting to learn and should be just what I need to prepare me for the courses I need to take to make this dream come true. :D

Hi,
MIT has open courseware too (108 classes):

Google free courses on line and similar.

Actually, today kind of stinks. Something is happening and I am feeling it in my body. I'm sleepy and can't keep my eyes open for more that a few hours -- then I need another nap.

I think it is a type of depression.

Do you see Christina's post on the child board?
M.

Thanks for the link and for the idea to google the free courseware, that's awesome! I don't know why I never thought of that, I could have been working on this for months preparing, I think it's smart to get it under my belt as much as I can NOW before I am in the class so I can learn easier and pass tests better. :D

I just saw and replied to Christina's post, thanks for pointing it out Mari, I don't look up there too often, but man, I am glad she can come here and post like that, I know how much talking helps. :D

I hope you start feeling better soon, I know how awful depression can be, setting in like a cold or flu, and making you miserable for days, weeks or even months, I wish you the best in getting with your T and seeing if you can't maybe tweak your meds a bit, I just tweaked mine a bit ago and hoping things get better soon. I feel better, but who knows really, it changes and fluctuates daily it seems.

Wow Pam, very busy, that is great. The distance learning looks very promising.

Mari I am so sorry you have a depression going on. I know how exhausting mentally and physically it can be. Believe me I am right there with ya. I hope you find some relief soon.

Seems I missed the day. ANd I'm going to be missing a while.

Just so much going on right now.

Mari, I am hoping the depression lifts or gets some help.

Donna
